Who? The Easter Bunny will hop over to Living History Farms to make his annual appearance at the Family Easter Celebration!
When? Saturday, March 30 from 9 am to noon, rain or shine. Where? Living History Farms, 11121 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA What? Join the historic games, horse-drawn wagon rides, and egg and toy hunts. Children 5-10 years old can bring their favorite Easter basket and search for novelty toys and candy during organized toy hunts. Toy hunts will start at 9:05 a.m. and run every 20 minutes, from 9:05-noon. Children age four and younger can collect plastic Easter eggs, enjoy a snack, and play with costumed bunny helpers at Pre-School Bunnyland. Historic games and contests include: · egg rolling · pancake races · Easter bonnet relay and more
The 1875 town of Walnut Hill, will be celebrating the arrival of spring. You can: · Say hello to the barnyard animals · Take a picture with the Easter Bunny · Craft activity by The Iowa Egg Council · Visit the town general store, drug store, broom maker and printer as they prepare for spring activities.

Living History Farms is a non-profit, historical, educational foundation located at 11121 Hickman Road, Urbandale, Iowa. Operations and maintenance are dependent upon gate receipts, memberships, and contributions. All proceeds from this fundraising event are used to support the museum's programs and activities. Living History Farms opens for the general touring season on May 1, 2013.
