The Lekisch is Getting a Makeover!

Summer facelift for a smooth Winter ski surface

Our fabulous groomers Craig and Bill have been busy this summer revitalizing the outer portion (7.5 km) of the Lekisch Trail at Kincaid Park. If you're a fan of this trail, you'll know that it has suffered some profound problems and was severely rutted, deeply dished and off camber with encroaching brush throughout. It's truly amazing how quickly nature can reclaim a trail!

We hope that when the Lekisch Trail is complete, you'll find it more enjoyable than ever....and if it has intimidated you in the past, give it another chance...you just might find a new friend! We expect this to trail to be just as wonderful as the Spencer was last year...even with that little bit of snow!

Many thanks to the generous funding by the Lekisch Family.

Ski Jumping is Going Green

Year round jumping is on its way

The green plastic is going down on the 20m landing hill to turn the ski jumps into Summer ones! Once the 20m is complete, work will start on the 40m.

Would you like to help?

Laying down the plastic is EASY and FUN - bring out the whole family and get to work on those tans!

Mon-Thurs 10am to 7pm

Midsummer Night's Kincaid Cleanup

Help keep our streets SUPER Clean!

Come out for a stroll down the road from Kincaid Park (just bring gloves, we'll provide garbage bags and a grippy thing, yes that's the technical term)

Monday, July 27 at 7:30pm

Park at entrance to Little Campbell Lake (dirt road on right, just past Kincaid Park sign)

NSAA adopted the Raspberry Road into Kincaid Park so members like you can help keep it clean for our many park users. If you are unable to come out on Monday, please be sure to pick up garbage on our streets and parks if you see it.

Super hero costumes always welcome!
