Dear Skiers,

Mother Nature is being more than a bit stingy with the snow so far this year. Never fear, here are 10 things you can do while you anxiously wait for more white stuff.

#1: Help haul snow at the jumps - Tues, Nov 27 - 6-8 pm

Jumpers are jumping! Thanks to some busy bees hauling snow last week, the 15 meter jump is open and our pint-size flyers are jumping. Now it's time to get the 40-meter in shape. Can you lend a hand spreading and shoveling snow tomorrow? Come on out to the jumps Tuesday, Nov 27 between 6 and 8pm and the jumpers will put you to work.

Have you always wanted to give jumping a try? Saturday & Sunday, Dec 1 & 2, between 1pm & 3pm is a "U Try It" opportunity at the 15 meter jump. It's FREE! Bring your own downhill skis, boots and helmet and our skilled jumping coaches will be on hand to get you started.
#2: Vote Nordic in Alaska Sports Hall of Fame

Let's get two great NSAA events into the Alaska Sports Hall of Fame. Both the Tour of Anchorage and Alaska Ski for Women have been nominated for the Class of 2013. Isn't it about time for a Nordic event to join the Hall of Fame? CLICK HERE to VOTE! Voting closes November 30th, so don't delay.
