Attention NJ residents: County Captains needed
County Captains help us make sure the needs of the MS community are heard by our elected officials and work towards finding solutions.
Captains are needed in the following counties in New Jersey: Salem, Gloucester, Atlantic, Cape May, and Burlington. For a complete description of the volunteer positions and for more information, please contact Christiana Gervasoni, Public Policy Intern, at (215) 271-1500 ext. 24150 or via email at Christiana.gervasoni@nmss.org.
Attention PA residents: Committee members needed

The MS Society is recruiting members for the new PA Government Relations Committee, a group of people who wish to move forward the MS Society's Activism agenda. We need passionate, strategic and engaging people who are interested in enhancing the quality of life for people affected by multiple sclerosis. These volunteers, along with fellow committee members, must be willing to forge or strengthen essential relationships with policymakers and local policy officials. 800 volunteers needed for City to Shore weekend, Sept. 29 & 30
CTS volunteers
Bike MS: City to Shore Ride 2012 is coming up and while we have recruited about 200 volunteers so far, we need 1,000 for this event to be successful.

This is a great volunteer experience to share with your family, friends or co-workers. Registration is required each year so if you volunteered last year and can do so again, we still need you to sign up again this year

Volunteers help us set up, hand out water and snacks, cheer on the cyclists, help with trucking duties and even act as photographers! We are in most need at Cherry Hill, Hammonton, Egg Harbor Township, Mays Landing and Ocean City. Sign up today or contact Joy for more details!

Volunteers are needed for short-term projects at our office - pick a day, two or three!

Volunteers are needed for short-term projects in our office and warehouse the weeks of Aug. 27, Sept. 3 and Sept. 10, any day Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

VolunteersAll ages are welcome. If you're looking for an end of summer or beginning of fall project, we can use your help! We'll be finishing up pre-event projects for City to Shore and preparing for our Dinner of Champions gala in November. Contact Joy for more details.

Are you retired? Work part-time? Looking for a résumé filler? We need you Sept. 17-28
CTS Rider Number

Five volunteers are needed each day, Monday through Friday, Sept. 17-28 to assign bike rider numbers. Morning, afternoon and full-day shifts are available.

You will use our computers to look up the rider, make sure they've turned in all the required materials and hand them their packet. This is a great job for someone looking for a short-term project, either to fill time or to fill holes in their résumé. Training will be provided. Contact Joy if you're available.
