Greetings!
The Conservancy Ball was a wonderful success thanks to our many supporters and friends. Next year's Ball is scheduled for Saturday, April 5.
One of the easiest, and least expensive, ways to see Catalina's wildlands is on the Conservancy's Wildlands Express. Ben Coleman, our Geographic Information Systems technician, recently completed a Wildlands Express virtual tour that follows the route from the Transportation Plaza in Avalon to the Airport in the Sky. We hope that you enjoy this virtual tour and will visit us on Catalina soon.
Sincerely,
Ann M. Muscat, Ph.D., President and CEO

Eleven bald eagle chicks have hatched this spring in seven Catalina Island nests. These new additions to the Island's eagle population continue one of Catalina's outstanding conservation success stories.

Catalina Island welcomes nearly 1 million visitors every year. The lucky few take one of the several inland tours, and get a chance to see Catalina in the wild. However, one couple from the state of Washington, and another couple from Wisconsin recently got to see the Island in an even more personal way. They signed up for a Volunteer Vacation, a partnership between the Catalina Island Conservancy and the Hermosa Hotel.
