Webinar Tip # 02
Virtual conversations that facilitate learning discoveries
See more tips below

How do we get learners to learn better and faster in a virtual session?

What happens when we avoid spoon feeding learners with all the information? What can we do differently to help them discover learning?

The way you pose your questions determines how you lead the learners into meaningful conversations.

In asking participants questions, you clarify your content. In this case, the content is "Learners learn in smaller pieces through mobile tools."

Show them an image that packs books into a shelf and then ask the question "How do learners learn today?"

Since you showed the image with the message, learners will type in their own interpretation of the image and the question. Their answers generally cover the content you want to deliver. Instead of telling learners, facilitate them to discover the learning.

How learners learn in packets of small information.

1. Show a slide and graphic that represents the question and content.
2. Ask participants a question.
3. Read aloud their responses that pertain to your content.
4. "Short pieces," "Just in time technology"
5. Mention the name of the participant. "Thank you Lisa."
6. Respond emotionally. Laugh at interesting comments.
7. Appreciate the participants. "Very good answers." , "Thank you Bob."
8. Weave participants' comments into your conclusion and in relation to the content.

At the end "The learners are learning in smaller devices."

In this portion, the truth is " there is no control in project management." However, she throws a thought- provoking question that requires a response from the participants.

1. Ask learners a provocative  question
2. Request to respond in chat
3. Acknowledge responses
4. Inject  insights and tips
