Pelican Bay is participating in Collier County Bay Days this year, so come join fellow residents and help keep our beaches clean!

Collier County, in partnership with Keep Collier Beautiful, is looking for a few good volunteers on Saturday, April 11, for the annual Bay Days Cleanup.

The entire Bay Days event, which will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., draws about 1,800 volunteers who last year collected 83,000 pounds of waste from Collier County beaches, bays and canals.

There are 19 sites throughout Collier County to be cleaned, including Delnor Wiggins Pass, Vanderbilt Beach, Lowdermilk Park, the Naples Pier, Clam Pass, Rookery Bay, Tigertail Beach, the Golden Gate canals, the Isle of Capri, the Ten Thousand Islands National Wildlife Refuge, Naples Bay (the Naples Sailing and Yacht Club), Bayview Park, Immokalee and Naples Cruise Club Key Island, along with Pelican Bay.

So, come to North or South Beach.  No registration is required and necessary supplies will be provided.
