Being a board member of a nonprofit organization is a big responsibility.  Eager to accept the assignment in 2014, the members of The Georgia Club Foundation Board of Directors are committed to upholding the mission of the Foundation, thinking strategically in a focused direction, and maintaining a culture of mutual respect that leads toward sound, shared decision making.

The 2014 Foundation is dedicated to being results-oriented where progress toward its mission is measured by the performance of Foundation programs and the impact donations make to local, worthy organizations.  The Foundation is extremely grateful for the financial support of our generous donors, and the Board pledges to being good stewards of your important investment.

With excitement we invite you to participate in the Foundation's 2014 fundraising events - the Eighth Annual Front Porch Foot Race, the Seventh Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament, and the enchanting Christmas Tour of Homes. Complete information about the events, along with volunteer and sponsor opportunities, will be made available from the Foundation over the months to come.

A Message from Foundation Sponsors
David and Jane Chu
David and Jane Chu are resident members at the Georgia Club, and they have been annual sponsors of the Foundation for several years.

Just as the Foundation desires to provide financial aid to exceptional students through its scholarship program, so does The Chu Family Foundation.  They have graciously established a scholarship fund for descendants of American Korean War Veterans in the Athens community-at-large.

If you or someone you know is a descendant of a Korean War Veteran, and college is in the future, the Chu's would like to offer you an opportunity to be considered for an available scholarship.  Click here for more information.

This announcement is made as a courtesy and the scholarship opportunity is not associated with the Foundation.
Thank you for your support of
The Georgia Club Foundation and its beneficiaries!
