Nearly 30 exhibits will showcase Iowa State University at the fourth annual ISU Day at the Capitol on Tuesday. Representatives from across the university will have the opportunity to interact with legislators and other state officials while highlighting Iowa State's mission of education, research, and service.

Serving Every County, Every Day:
  • Educating more than 21,000 Iowans from all 99 counties. 75 of Iowa's 99 counties have a greater number of college students that choose to attend Iowa State over any other college or university.
  • Educating the most high school graduates and community college transfer students in Iowa.
  • More than 100,000 Iowa State graduates live and work in all 99 counties. 66 of Iowa's 99 counties have a greater number of ISU alumni living in them than from any other college of university.
  • Serving more than one million Iowans as the state's only land-grant university through ISU Extension & Outreach.
Did you know? During FY15, graduates achieved a 95% placement rate within six months of graduation. Of those graduates who entered the workforce, 66% of the Iowa resident graduates remained in Iowa to begin their careers.
