The Iowa State College of Business educates tomorrow's business leaders so they are prepared to deal with multi-disciplinary, global, technological, ethical and diversity challenges.

• The College of Business serves more Iowa high school graduates than any other business program in the state. Resident students comprise nearly 65% of the college's enrollment, and nearly 60% stay in Iowa after graduation.

• The College of Business is accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the premier accrediting body for business programs. Less than 5% of business schools worldwide earn this designation. Both the undergraduate and graduate programs are among the top 20% of AACSB-accredited programs.

• The college's Communications Center was developed to help give business students the specialized communication training they need to excel as professionals and help faculty integrate communication instruction and practice with business courses. Topics include grammar, document design and writing style, such as emails, memos, letters, and presentations.

• The College of Business faculty routinely integrate real case studies from Iowa business into the curriculum, offering real-world issues for students to solve and present to business owners. MBA students conduct intensive service learning projects with area nonprofits. Both graduate and undergraduate students have had strong success in case competitions against students from other business programs around the country.

• Student scholarship support has been a high priority for the college. Scholarship funds have more than tripled in the past eight years.

Did you know? The College of Business is the host institution for the Iowa Small Business Development Centers and the Iowa State Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship. Both centers are critical to economic development in Iowa.
