This update is to inform you about planned construction activity between today and October 30, 2015.

• Sewer main installation will take place in the alley of Rockaway Ct. between Mission Blvd. and Bayside Lane beginning Monday, October 19, 2015.  The main installation should take five days.  On Monday, October 26, sewer laterals will be installed and this process should take three days, weather permitting.
• On Friday, October 23, and Monday October 26, the sewer trench line on Mission Blvd. will be base-paved.
• Highline pipe (temporary pipe that runs along the curb and allows water service during construction) will be reinstalled on Strand Way from San Luis Obispo Place to Monterey Court.
• Connection to the 12-inch water main at Mission Blvd. and Mission Bay Drive is scheduled for October 27. The contractor is studying the feasibility of a temporary highline to maintain water service to businesses and residents in that area during the connection work.
• A water shutdown will be necessary to make a main connection at Mission Blvd. and Kennebeck Ct. The shutdown will be overnight on October 29 into the morning of October 30. Affected residents and businesses will receive door hanger notices of water interruption at least 72 hours before a scheduled water service shutdown.
