You are receiving this email because you are subscribed to receive construction updates on the Avenida De La Playa Infrastructure Replacement Project and Sewer and Water Group Job 809.
The installation of the sewer main and laterals on Calle De La Plata and El Paseo Grande has been completed. During the week of April 27, surface improvements on Avenida De La Playa will begin.
The contractor will start with sidewalk and pedestrian ramp work on the north side of Avenida De La Playa. This will require "No Parking" signs to be temporarily posted in several parking stalls and pedestrians will be detoured around the sidewalk repairs.
When the north side of the work is complete, the contractor will move to the south side of Avenida De La Playa and complete the same work.
Following the sidewalk and pedestrian ramp improvements, paving will begin. Paving will start at La Jolla Shores Drive and Avenida De La Playa and go one block west at a time and will require traffic closure of the area being paved.
The work will cease for the summer construction moratorium after May 22. Work will resume after Labor Day on Camino Del Oro and Vallecitos.
Every provision will be taken to quickly and efficiently complete the work. We will do our best to minimize any further inconveniences and we thank you for your understanding.
