We understand that the work performed overnight on Avenida De La Playa this past week was loud and intrusive. The work planned for Monday evening, November 24, is unavoidable. However, the majority of the noisy work will be completed during the day on Monday. A crew will come in at night and complete the water main work which will include some noise, but it will not be as intrusive as the night work done earlier this week. The water shutdowns are performed at night because peak water usage typically occurs during the day and early evening hours. This work will be performed during the lowest water usage time frame so as to minimize the adverse impact to residents and businesses. Every provision will be taken to quickly and efficiently complete the work. We will do our best to minimize any further inconveniences and we thank you for your understanding.
