Our People Serve the Community

Each year 18 Shapiro & Duncan employees teach financial literacy to 6th graders at Banneker Middle School in Burtonsville, MD. We cover topics such as credit cards, budgets, credit scores, and insurance. These topics are not covered under the normal academic curriculum. With the help from our vendors and suppliers, we are able to come together as a community to transform the preparedness of our region's youth. Last year with the help our sponsors we raised $12,601!

We hope that you will continue to support us and participate in our annual JA Bowl-A-Thon on Thursday, April 7th. For additional details, visit our donation page. If your company would like to register a team, please review your sponsorship levels and contact Stacey Ehring at [email protected] no later than Feb. 27th.
