We at Evolution Window Films are passionate about Sustainability. One of the reasons we are in the window film business is because we enjoy helping building owners, tenants and home owners with their GREEN initiatives. Providing our customers with a quality product that supports the 3 P's of sustainability - profits, people and planet - is a very important part of why we do, what we do.
We hope you find the information in this newsletter a helpful resource while working on any upcoming "Green" initiatives. If this hasn't been one of your initiatives up to this point, you might find it is easier to get started than you thought,
Sincerely,
Sam Bellhouse

What is L.E.E.D?
"Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (L.E.E.D) is a third-party certification program and an internationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. As an internationally recognized mark of excellence, L.E.E.D provides building owners and operators the tools they need to have an immediate and measurable impact on their buildings' performance."
One of the five key areas of achievement within the L.E.E.D certification program is Energy Efficiency. Building owners receive credits toward their certification when they increase their energy efficiency, but they also receive the cost savings associated with energy consumption.
Building owners and property managers look for products and services that offer the greatest return on investment (ROI) considering initial capital needed, how fast will it pay back the investment, ease to implement/install and other value added benefits - to the organization and tenants.
In addition the Energy efficiency, the installation of window film offers possible credit opportunities in other categories, as outlined in this article.
