Humane Society of Pulaski County News

November 25, 2012
Dots Dear HSPC Supporter,

Gift-giving time is almost upon us, and I know that many people are thinking about adding a furry friend to their family.  Please always remember that pets are not just for Christmas, they are forever.  Make sure that everyone is on board before taking on the responsibility of a new life to care for.  Why not bring the giftee to the shelter and let him or her pick out their new friend, and you pay the adoption fee?  We can do the adoption teaching, answer any questions, and ensure that the adoption is a "good fit" for everyone involved.  For parents who are adding a furry friend as a surprise to their children, we will complete the adoption process and hold your new pet until closer to Christmas.  Save a homeless animal this holiday season!

Sincerely,

Christine Henderson
Board President

Pet of the Week

Tina
Tina
Tina is still waiting for a loving home. If you're looking for a companion that's a little seasoned, and has a balanced blend of energy and calmness, take a look at Tina. Tina is a Lab/Terrier mix, and is approximately 6-7 years old.
She came to the shelter at an early age with a litter of puppies, and has called the shelter her home ever since. Tina is an extremely loving girl who is happy to play, or to just hang out and watch the world go by.... She would be best suited with a family where she is the only pet, don't worry, she will provide the love of 3 pets in return. Please come down to the shelter and let Tina win your heart, she won't disappoint!

Click on her name to see more beautiful photos of Tina.
