Hip Hop Sisters Foundation is a nonprofit 501c3 public charity and since our founding in 2012, we have presented over $550,000 in college scholarships during the Soul Train Music Awards and most recently, in alliance with our signature #EducateOurMen campaign, on the Steve Harvey National TV show (www.hiphopsisters.org/news).
Our advisory board members include Russell Simmons, Faith Evans, and Jada Pinkett Smith, and our programs, some of which have been featured at the White House, are centered around financial empowerment (www.wealthexperience.info), education (www.educateourmen.org), and mentoring (wwwhiphopsisters.org); hence, events such as the Celebration of Firsts assist us in providing resources for and access to our community programs.
