Sail Young Professionals of Manitowoc County will be introducing the "Future 15" at their Annual Banquet on Thursday, November 10, at Knox's Silver Valley Bar & Banquet Hall in Manitowoc.
 
The "Future 15" are young professionals in Manitowoc County that have set themselves apart from other individuals both in their professional and personal lives and are currently making a contribution to the community and will continue to do so for years to come. Facebook - According to ExactTarget, the primary reason why people "LIKE" a Facebook page is to receive promotions and coupons (40%), derive instant updates on upcoming sales (30%), and to show support for certain brands or companies (30%).

The 2016-2017 Leadership Manitowoc County class is well underway! Participants in the program will devote one day a month for nine months visiting and touring businesses, organizations and institutions in Manitowoc County that have a direct impact on the community.  One of the main objectives of the program is to provide information and education about the community's wide range of opportunities and challenges.

Entries sought for Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year Awards

Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce is seeking nominations for its 29th annual Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year (MOTY) Awards.

The awards recognize successes of manufacturers' innovations, philanthropic activity, technology advancements and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Winners will be recognized at a ceremony on February 23, at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee.

Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce was founded in 1911. It is the state's chamber of commerce and largest business trade association representing more than 3,700 employers.
