Every Tuesday, The Chamber of Manitowoc County sends out an email with the subject line "Tuesday Tidbits and Hot Deals". As a Chamber member you are welcome to submit a short message (85 words or less) that we will share with our membership. There is a limit of one per company per week, and Tidbits will be accepted up to two weeks prior to the event/promotion. Tidbits will be published consecutively for a maximum of two weeks. Another great value-added marketing tool available to you at no cost.

 

Please submit weekly messages by Monday at 4:00 p.m. to info@chambermanitowoccounty.org, with "Tuesday Tidbits" in your email subject line.  Emailing your submission to any other email address does not guarantee inclusion.

Two Rivers Main Street is revving up for the Cool City Classic Car Cruise and Car Show on Friday, June 28, and Saturday, June 29.  The Friday night Car Cruise will depart from the UW-Manitowoc parking lot at 6 p.m. and follows Memorial Drive to Central Park in Two Rivers.  After the Cruise, The Strawberry Jam Band will play from 6:30 - 9:30 in Central Park.  The Car Show runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, in beautiful downtown Two Rivers.  For more information contact Matt Hohner at (920) 794-1482 or matt@tworiversmainstreet.com.

Manitowoc Public Library will be celebrating 15 years on Quay Street in a big way!  Join the fun Friday, July 12, as Manitowoc Public Library celebrates this milestone with live entertainment, tours and a terrific used book sale. The library will even be open until 8 p.m. that Friday to accommodate all the fun! 

 

Shady Lane:  On Sunday, June 30, The Guitar Duo of Stefan Hall & Brian Sutton is the featured group for the Music in the Garden series.  The concert, which is free and open to the public, is from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Gardens of Laurel Grove, 1308 South 22nd Street.  Concert goers are welcome to bring a lawn chair or blanket.  Refreshments will be available and in case of rain, concerts will be held in the Laurel Grove lobby.  Tours of Laurel Grove will also be available from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.


K-9 Perfection, LLC:  Dog Obedience Classes are beginning!  Puppy Socialization (2-4 months old) Monday, July 8, 3:00-4:00pm and Saturday, July 13, 9:00-10:00am.  Basic Obedience (4-6 months old) Tuesday, July 9, 6-7pm, Thursday, July 11, 3-4pm, and Saturday, July 13, 10-11am.  Basic Obedience (6 months & up) on Wednesday, July 10, 3-4pm, Monday, July 8, 6-7pm, and Saturday, July 13, 11am-Noon.  Advanced Obedience is on Tuesday, July 9, 3-4pm, Wednesday, July 10, 6-7pm (larger breeds/dogs), and Thursday, July 11, 6-7pm (smaller breeds/dogs).  Call (920) 682-1185 to enroll.  We require that your pet's vaccination for Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella be current. Manitowoc County Historical Society:  On Saturday, June 22, from 8 - 10 a.m. the Manitowoc County Historical Society will host a Homegrown Heritage Breakfast at Pinecrest Historical Village, 924 Pinecrest Road in Manitowoc.  Visitors will discover the variety of quality foods produced in Manitowoc County and celebrate our strong agricultural heritage.  The cost of the breakfast is $10 for adults and $6 for children ages 5 - 17.  For more information contact MCHS at (920) 684-4445 or visit us on the web at www.mchistsoc.org.
