Schroeder's Department Store Welcomes New Vendors
A.J. Ashenbrenner and Theresa Kronforst, fourth-generation general managers of Schroeder's Departments Store, recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of two new shops, Lisa's Photo Quilting and The Read Apple, within their department store located at 1623 Washington Street, Two Rivers. Assisting Ashenbrenner and Kronforst with the ribbon cutting are: Lisa Heyroth, owner of Lisa's Photo Quilting; Pam & Keith Duveneck, owners of The Read Apple; The Chamber of Manitowoc County Executive Director Karen Szyman; State Representative Andre Jacque; Miss Green Bay Area Allyson Binversie; members of The Chamber's Board of Directors, and Chamber Ambassadors.

Grand Opening of Reflections Unit Celebrated
Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation - North Ridge, located at 1445 N. 7th Street, Manitowoc, recently celebrated the grand opening of their new "Reflections" Alzheimer's Unit with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony. Assisting Mary Ann Hamer, Executive Director, Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation - North Ridge with the ribbon cutting are members of the Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation - North Ridge staff, The Chamber of Manitowoc County Executive Director Karen Szyman, Manitowoc Mayor Justin Nickels, members of The Chamber's Board of Directors and Chamber Ambassadors. The new "Reflections" unit is designed for individuals with cognitive impairment who require a secured, protected environment with specialized programming.

Safety Forum at KI - Manitowoc
This week Safety Council participants had the opportunity to see the inner workings of KI - Manitowoc, a local manufacturer of seating, desks, moveable walls, and so much more. Attendees heard an excellent presentation from Rich Pearce, John Stevens, and Sara Suckow, and received a tour of the KI facility.

Country Visions Mishicot Convenience Store prepares for Grand Opening!
Country Visions' Mishicot Convenience Store, located at 114 E. Main St., Mishicot, recently celebrated their grand opening with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony. Assisting Robert Lowe, C.E.O, Country Visions Cooperative, with the ribbon cutting are Mishicot C-Store Manager, Penny Arndt, C-Store Supervisor, Bill Holfeltz, Country Visions' Board Member, Gary Princl, The Chamber of Manitowoc County Executive Director Karen Szyman, representatives of A.C.E. Building Service, Inc., members of The Chamber's Board of Directors and Chamber Ambassadors. This ribbon cutting was held in preparation for their Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, June 15th. A new 3,960 square foot convenience store was constructed just behind the location of the previous store and was designed and built by A.C.E. Building Service, Inc. of Manitowoc.
