Wellness Awareness Luncheon Talks Exercise

 

 

Dr. Carl DiRaimondo of Orthopaedic Associates of Manitowoc gave a presentation at the Wellness Council Awareness lunch that helped those attending to understand the effects of aging on our bodies, the physiological benefits of exercise, exercise types and program design, how to initiate a new exercise program, and how to prevent and treat overuse injuries associated with exercise.

The next Wellness  Council Awareness Lunch will be held on June 25, and will feature Dr. Susan Keiler, Dermatology Associates of Wisconsin, S.C., as she presents about Skin Cancer.

The Remedy Pub & Eatery Hosts Ribbon Cutting


 


Brandon Songetay, owner, and Kimberly Wells, General Manager, recently celebrated their new restaurant, The Remedy Pub & Eatery, located at 1513 Washington St., Two Rivers, with a ribbon cutting celebration.  Assisting Songetay and Wells with the ribbon cutting are The Chamber of Manitowoc County Executive Director Karen Szyman, Two Rivers City Manager Greg Buckley, Miss Green Bay Area Allyson Binversie, members of The Chamber's Board of Directors and Chamber Ambassadors.  The Remedy Pub & Eatery serves breakfast, lunch or dinner, and features local menu-favorites, local music and local beers.
