Every Tuesday, The Chamber of Manitowoc County sends out an email with the subject line "Tuesday Tidbits and Hot Deals". As a Chamber member you are welcome to submit a short message (85 words or less) that we will share with our membership. There is a limit of one per company per week, and Tidbits will be accepted up to two weeks prior to the event/promotion. Tidbits will be published consecutively for a maximum of two weeks. Another great value-added marketing tool available to you at no cost.
Please submit weekly messages by Monday at 4:00 p.m. to info@chambermanitowoccounty.org, with "Tuesday Tidbits" in your email subject line. Emailing your submission to any other email address does not guarantee inclusion.

UW-Manitowoc: "Tee" for Two (Golf with a Friend). Attention women! Bring a friend and learn the game of golf in six short lessons! Learn everything you need to know to step onto a golf course and play with confidence: etiquette, rules and equipment selection. On the last night, you'll play 9-holes at CNC Links Golf Course. Manitowoc County Historical Socety (MCHS): On Monday, May 27, the Manitowoc County Historical Society will have a Pie and Ice Cream Social from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Enjoy the Memorial Day parade from the beautiful Heritage Center grounds at 1701 Michigan Ave. in Manitowoc, and stop in for amazing homemade pies, ice cream and refreshments, all while benefiting MCHS. This event is a fundraiser for the Manitowoc County Historical Society, a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization operating Pinecrest Historical Village and the Heritage Center.

Manitowoc Public Library: More than 100 library patrons are waiting to see the 2012 Academy Award winning film Life of Pi. They've reserved a copy at one of the libraries in the Manitowoc-Calumet Library System. Manitowoc Public Library realizes that it may be a long wait, so they've offered a solution. Life of Pi will be shown Tuesday, May 21, at 5:30 p.m. in the Balkansky Community Room on the second floor of the library at 707 Quay St., Manitowoc. Refreshments will be served.

Dare to Dream Theatre is holding auditions for Shrek: The Musical, on Wednesday, May 29, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. (You may sign up for a 50-minute audition slot.) Auditions will be held at Dare to Dream Theatre's Rehearsal Space, Clarkbridge Hall, 1402 Clark St., Manitowoc. Shrek: The Musical performances will be held, August 23 through 25, 2013, at the Kohler Memorial Theater, Kohler, WI.
Rose Colored Classes (RCG) Salon & Spa raised a total of $2,000 to be donated to the Earth Month Fund. Each member of the RCG Team shared their time and talents to aid in the effort. This year's $2,000 was raised through a two day rummage sale, special raffles, and a Spa Event which featured Aveda's Midwest Skin Specialist and educator, Tracy Lipska. Tracy spent two days at RCG's downtown Manitowoc location and performed facial services on a limited number of salon guests who reserved appointments with her.
SHG & ABCS LLC is holding a summer career series for fourth through sixth graders. We need volunteers to give a 5-10 minute presentation about their jobs. Preferred professional categories: 1. Work outside or with your hands, 2. Research and/or analytical work, 3. "Helping" careers, 4. Marketing professionals and/or entrepreneurs and 5. Traditional business careers such as accounting or management.
