Chris Weimer and Elise Thomasson met each other at Elise's sister's wedding in 2008. They are currently stationed at Kirtland AFB where they started the first LGBT and Ally organization in the US Air Force! Read more >>

Faces of Our Families - May

Scott Pierson and Dan LaMotte are hailed from Washington State. Immediately following the repeal of DADT, Scott appointed Dan as the Lead Family Readiness Group Coordinator for his unit and two weeks later they attended the 96th Troop Command Ball together; overall, they have been welcomed with open arms by the Washington Army National Guard Family. In their spare time, Scott and Dan enjoy entertaining, volunteering, and exploring the great outdoors. Read more >>

May 16 -  Blue Star Families Survey Lifestyle Results  
  
MPFC coalition partner, Blue Star Families, is inviting MPFC families to join them in their 2013 Military Family Lifestyle Survey Findings & Panel Discussion at the Capitol Visitor's Center. MPFC provided feedback in their survey design to make sure LGBT military families voices are included. RSVP at spouses@milpfc.org
  
May 19 @4-5pm ET - Virtual Family Meeting
 
For an hour, kick back, relax, and join a LIVE chat with other (LGBT and Ally) military families. Our guest speaker this month is Lynn Crabb, Senior Director, Policy and Program Development, Service to the Armed Forces, American Red Cross, who will share the amazing resources they provide to ALL military families! May 27 -  Wreath Laying at Arlington Memorial
  
MPFC is teaming up with American Veterans for Equal Rights to honor our fallen heroes for Memorial Day with wreath laying. RSVP at spouses@milpfc.org
  
June 8-9 - Capitol Pride Parade and Festival 
  
 Come join us for a festive weekend celebrating Pride at our Nation's Capitol. We will be marching at the Parade and have an exhibit booth at the Festival. March with us or volunteer (or stop by) at the booth. We love to see you! RSVP and order your MPFC T-Shirt at info@milpfc.org
June 12 - Global Equality Pride
