Al-Amal School students competed at The Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS) and 77th Minnesota State Science and Engineering Fair (MSSEF) on March 30, 31, and April 1. JSHS is the state science fair high school research paper competition and MSSEF is the state science fair middle and high school project competition.

Al-Amal put up the best ever performance in the school's history by bagging 10 awards and 4 recognition certificates. This represented an increase of 150% in the number of awards compared to last year.

Al-Amal students relished the opportunity to compete against some of very best in the state. Several top notch private and public schools had their teams participating in the competition. Over 400 teams from all around Minnesota took part in this competition.

Al-Amal research paper teams also got a chance to attend a breakfast meeting with some of the top scientists from Minnesota.

Al-Amal teams have shown amazing dedication and passion in their projects. The school recognizes and applauds the effort of every team from the school that took part in various competitions during these past few months. Many thanks to science teachers, Sr. Hala Bazzi, Sr. Nadia Wazwaz and Sr. Rawan Hamade for their unmatched commitment and efforts in inspiring these young scientists.
