Last Friday, Alexjwilson.com held its Annual Holiday/ Charity party. A Big thank you to everyone that came to the Charity Holiday Party. The most important people to thank first are the friends of Alexjwilson.com - over the evening we raised $3,400.00 towards the "Red Door Shelter" - we are now only $1,600.00 away from our $5,000.00 goal. Thank you so much for coming out and enjoying the evening with us.
The event brought a full house of the city's do-gooders to raise money for Red Door Shelter to continue to help families in need. The party was held at 8 Gladstone, sales center of Streetcar Developments. It was a good mix of drinking, eating, dancing and celebration of everyone's contribution to the cause.
The turnout is great as expected. Alex is almost too well known for his events. With non-stop flowing of beer and wine, everyone enjoyed their daily recommended dose of alcohol to start the evening with. Everyone had their hands on the chocolate covered strawberries beautifully plated on a bed of rose petals. Did I mention we had a Crepe station? The crepes are heavenly and you almost feel guilty of having a second plate (but not really). And the chocolate mini cheesecakes are a hit too!
