Summer Weather Reminder

It's Hurricane Season. While hurricanes don't usually affect us in New Jersey until later in the alphabet - we won't forget Sandy - the season is a good reminder that summertime thunderstorms can damage your electronics. We've written about storm preparation before - all the steps you need to take. You can reread them in our archives.

One more piece of advice for the summer:

Keep it cool. When your equipment runs hot, the heat affects the electronics, and that can lead to all sorts of failures.
  • Make sure cooler air - from and air conditioner or a fan - is circulating in the room.
  • If you have equipment in a closet, open the door to allow for ventilation.
If you have any questions about keeping your technology cool and comfortable during the summer, call us at 973-433-6676 or email us. We can give you advice or relocate equipment to give it better protection from summer heat and humidity.
