Hear directly from the U.S. Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security Senior Engineer Darrell Spires who is responsible for Export Administration Regulation Category 8 covering the Marine Industry. Mr. Spires will provide an overview of upcoming reforms to U.S. export controls regulations that will bring numerous U.S. Department of State ITAR controlled products into BIS jurisdiction. Marine products that will be affected include submersible vessels, oceanographic equipment and related articles, as well as surface vessels of war and special naval equipment.
