Dr. Jerry Parker was recently injured while restoring one of his vintage automobiles.  While welding his clothes caught fire and he suffered burns on his hands, left arm and torso.  He has had two skin graph surgeries and has another scheduled for Monday.  He will most likely be in the UAB Burn Center for approximately three weeks and then begin his rehab.  

Many of you have ask how you can help.  I talked with Mrs. Parker today and she believes she has found a dentist to work Dr. Parker's office three days per week for the summer while he completes rehab and recovers. 

I will keep you up-to-date as I have information.  Please keep Dr. Parker and his family in your prayers.
