Paulassilverlining
Ghostzapper filly
Paulassilverlining, who was born and raised on Hidden Brook for owner and breeder Vince Scuderi, took home the G3 Distaff Handicap at Aqueduct on April 17th, marking the third stakes win of the four-year-old's career. She previously won the Ruthless Stakes and the G2 Matron Stakes.

She finished the 7-furlong contest in an impressive time of 1:22.01, 3 ¾ lengths ahead of the pack while adding $120,000 to her bankroll, bringing it up to $518,950 in her career.

Paulassilverlining holds a lifetime record of 12-5-3-2. She is trained by Michelle Nevin and was ridden by Jose Ortiz.

Three-year-old Riker was awarded Champion two-year-old of 2015 at the 41st annual Sovereign Awards on April 8th. Hidden Brook recommended the $60,000 purchase of Riker to owner Tucci Stables.

Riker nabbed 4 wins, with 3 of those being stakes wins - the Colin Stakes, the Swynford Stakes, and the G3 Grey Stakes at Woodbine. He finished out 2015 with a record of 5-4-0-0 and earnings totaling $209,049.

Manhattan Dan won the Fisher Island Handicap at Gulfstream Park on April 8th in impressive fashion. This marks the second stakes win of his career and the second in a row for the two-year-old. In February, he finished 1st in the Texas Glitter Stakes.

He won the 5-furlong Fisher Island Handicap by 3 ¼ lengths and with a final time of 55.03.

Manhattan Dan was raised on Hidden Brook for breeder Sanford H. Robbins. He is by Big Brown and out of Purely Excessive.

Dads Caps
, who was foaled and raised on Hidden Brook for breeder and owner Vince Scuderi, finished 3rd in the G1 Carter Handicap on April 9th. He had previously won the G1 Carter Handicap in 2014 and 2015.

The six-year-old has earned $1,050,067 throughout his career.

Cali Thirty Seven, a Hidden Brook recommended purchase, set the pace and won the Powder Break Stakes at Gulfstream Park on April 30th by 1 ¼ lengths. This marked the first stakes win of the four-year-old filly's career. She is by Eskendereya and out of Mama Tia. She is trained by Joe Orseno.

Weekend Hideaway, a Hidden Brook sales graduate who was sold by Hidden Brook as a yearling for breeder Flying Zee Stables, finished 1st in the Affirmed Success Stakes at Belmont Park, marking the 6th stakes win of the six-year-old's career.

He is by Speightstown, out of Apocalyptical. He has earned $631,532 thus far in his career. 


After a five-month hiatus from racing, Hidden Brook partnership filly Neck of the Moon has returned to the track with an impressive 2nd place finish in a race at Belmont Park on April 29th. This marks her first race as a six-year-old.

She finished 2nd by one-half length in a race where the winner set a new track record - 1:19.47 going 7 furlongs on turf. She received a lifetime best 91 Beyer and has come out of the race in good order.

Hidden Brook purchased her as a weanling in 2010 for $60,000. She holds a lifetime record of 16-4-4-5 with earnings of $287,245.

Neck of the Moon is by More Than Ready and out of Cotopaxi. She is trained by Chad Brown, and is currently being pointed toward the New-York-bred Mt. Vernon stakes going one mile on the turf on May 30th at Belmont.

This years OBS Spring Sale, which concluded on April 22nd, saw a slight decline in overall gross, a .4% rise in RNA's, but increases in average and median hip prices.  

The major highlight for Hidden Brook was the selling of Hip no. 418, a chestnut colt by Tapizar and out of Wildlife, which sold for $100,000.

Hidden Brook also made a purchase for a new client - hip no. 579, a beautiful bay filly by Dialed In and out of Bronze Charmer, which they purchased for $200,000. The two-year-old clocked in at an impressive 10-flat during her under tack performance.
