MARCH OBS RESULTS

Hidden Brook's consignment at the March OBS sale -- their first two-year-old pinhooking consignment -- consisted of Hip# 365, a chestnut filly by First Samurai, out of Raw Nerve.

The final selling price of $230,000 put the cap on a successful pinhooking venture, as Hidden Brook purchased the filly as a yearling for $85,000 at the Fasig-Tipton October Sale. She was purchased by agent Jim Schenck on behalf of Midwest Thoroughbreds.

The $230,000 price tag was well-above the sale average of $169,193.

Special thanks to Jim Schenck and Midwest Thoroughbreds, as well as to all those who helped run our consignment.

Please enjoy a very brief video we made of some of the sights at the March OBS sale, including some footage of Hip# 365 before and during her time in the auction ring. We wish her the best and look forward to following her career.

Firing Line, who was sold by Hidden Brook as a yearling in 2013, won the $800,000 G3 Sunland Derby while setting a new track record, finishing the one and one eighth of a mile race in 1:47.39.

The three-year-old's new track record was good enough for a 14-length win, which added $400,000

to his bankroll.

He has now earned $574,800 through his first 5 races.

The win brings his record to 5-2-3-0, with two of his 2nd place finishes coming in the G1 Los Alamos Futurity and the G3 Robert B. Lewis Stakes.

Happy My Way
He has his sights set on the

G1 Kentucky Derby on May 2.

On March 16, Happy My Way was named Florida-bred champion sprinter and champion older male by the Florida Thoroughbred Breeders' and Owners'

Association.

His record in 2014 was 7-3-3-0 with $371,667 in earnings, the bulk of that coming from two stakes wins and a 2nd place finish in the G1 Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap.

He was purchased by Hidden Brook as a two-year-old for $23,000 and has gone on to earn $534,552 thus far in his career.

He is owned by Sagamore Farm and Mel Paikoff and is trained by Joe Orseno.

Finnegans Wake
Coming off three straight G2 victories, Finnegans Wake, who was raised at Hidden Brook for breeder Jerry Crawford, finished 2nd in the G2 San Luis Rey Stakes at Santa Anita.

The six-year-old has now earned $1,105,375 throughout his career.

In her first race as a four-year-old, Ball Dancing finished 2nd in the G3 Hillsborough Stakes.

She is coming off a win in the G2 Sands Point Stakes and 2nd-place finish in the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Stakes.

Sold by Hidden Brook as a yearling for breeders Kirk Wycoff and Deby Wycoff, she now has a record of 8-3-3-0 and a bankroll of $526,282.

Dads Caps, who was born and raised on Hidden Brook for breeder and owner Vince Scuderi, finished 2nd in the G3 Tom Fool Handicap at Aqueduct, increasing his career earnings to $738,650.

Tiz Shea D, who was consigned by Hidden Brook and raised on the farm, came in 2nd in the G3 Gotham Stakes at Aqueduct. It was just his second career race. In February 2015, he finished 1st in his racing debut. He is by

Tiznow, out of Ender's Sister.

He was bred by Green Lantern Stables.
