HIDDEN BROOK RACING
PARTNERSHIP UPDATES

The Hidden Brook partnership filly Catch My Drift added some well earned black type to her resume with an impressive 2nd place finish in the G3 Turn Back the Alarm Stakes at Belmont Park on October 26th, missing out on the win by just a half length.

The three year old improved her record to 5-3-1-0 with the finish and added $40,000 in earnings to her bankroll.

Hidden Brook purchased Catch My Drift as a yearling in 2012 for $95,000. She is trained by Chad Brown.

The Hidden Brook team is hoping her next race will be in the $400,000 G3 Comely Stakes at Aqueduct on November 29th, assuming all goes well from here on out.

Another Hidden Brook filly, Neck of the Moon, also finished 2nd in a race at Belmont Park on October 26th.

Losing by just a head, the four year old More Than Ready filly fought gamely in the stretch with the eventual winner. She improved her record to 9-2-2-3 with the 2nd place finish. She is also trained by Chad Brown.

In 2014, Hidden Brook Racing Partnership horses have collectively tallied 6 wins, 4 seconds, and 4 thirds, giving them a win percentage of 20% and an in-the-money percentage of 47%.

At this year's Fasig Tipton October sale, Hidden Brook sold 14 of their 17 yearlings, resulting in a buy back rate of just 18%, well below the sale RNA percentage of 21%.

In addition, Hidden Brook surpassed the sale average of $38,500 with an average selling price of $55,386 per hip number.

The pinhooking partnership that began at Keeneland September was also expanded upon with two additional purchases: hip #'s 648 and 943.

Hip #648, a colt, was purchased for $50,000 and is by the first crop sire Giant Oak. Giant Oak is a multiple G1 winning son of Giant's Causeway. The colt is out of a young producing Chester House mare, whose first three foals to race have all been winners.

Hip #943
, a filly, was purchased for $85,000 and is a daughter of the good sire First Samurai. She is out of the graded stakes producing Nureyev mare, Raw Nerve and is a half-sister to G2 stakes winner and G1stakes placed Hyper, who earned over $746,000 during his career.

Both purchases have been shipped to Hidden Brook's facility in Ocala where they will be prepared for a future two year old in training sale.
