Your annual, one time ( January through December ) dues of $25 go a long, long way to support efforts of community improvement in the neighborhood of Rose Park.

 

Over 22,000 residents live in the one square mile area; with two historic districts, and one of the most important travels routes in Long Beach along with several businesses.

 

Your membership dollars along with donations, auctions and grants helped fund 32 initiatives. Approximately 500 volunteer hours from the board of directors; along with another 500 volunteer hours from residents and friends of RPNA succeeded in hosting:

   

  • Realtor Workshop for Historic Districts (educating realtors to encourage preservation and improvement at the time of sale)

 

  • History Project of East 7th St. (Researching our history, accumulating photos for a Rose Park Historic website)

 

  •   the Rose Park Bluegrass Festival

 

  • planting of 86 trees

 

  • 2 low-cost pet clinics

 

  • Design Criteria for E. 7th including input to the owners of Big Savers and a tree design

 

  • and the list goes on.

 

 

But each year we have to build once again on past efforts. And we need you. Please join/renew today for 2013

 Rose Park Neighborhood Association relies on voluntary membership annual dues. 

 

Do you like what your neighborhood association is doing?
We need your support!

 

RPNA maintains a PO Box, phone number, monthly newsletter and distributes literature to our neighborhood while hosting community events and helpful assistance.
 
Your neighborhood is represented for many city meetings, planning discussions and safety issues.  We are available to assist and inform new residents and old with the restoration processes and guidelines. 
 
Please support your neighborhood association by renewing or becoming a member.  The annual dues are $25.00
