Anytime, Anywhere, Anyone: Brain Injuries Do Not Discriminate is the slogan for this year's Brain Injury Awareness Month, aiming to educate the public that 2.4 million Americans sustain a brain injury each year.  As one of 7 Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) projects across California, the Central Coast Center for Independent Living's (CCCIL) has provided independent living services to TBI survivors since 1990.  Like the Brain Injury Association of America, CCCIL shares the goal of early and equal access to care for all.  CCCIL does this through taking action with community members on their goals to promote independence and full participation in life. For more information please contact Alicia Hernández Sánchez at 831.757.2968.
