Victim Offender Reconciliation Program (VORP) Mediator Training
Restorative Justice Partners is eager to announce a new Initial Victim Offender Reconciliation Program (VORP) Mediator Training Wednesdays January 15th, 22nd and 29th 2014 from 5:30-830 pm. Since July 2013 RJP has had over 30 VORP cases with more coming in at a sturdy pace. With such a increase we are pleased to know we are reaching out more in our community and making a positive impact. Working towards a systematic change from the punitive system, we need more mediators to take on the increase of cases. We appreciate everything our mediators do with the minors in each case; and take great efforts in establishing a solid training foundation. If you are interested please let me know and I will confirm you on our potential mediator list.
