CNPsurveyDeadline Extended for CalNonprofits Survey
Make your voice heard ... in just 11 minutes!

NAMC Core Leaders encourage you to participate in this statewide survey. A reminder that we will be launching a local Nonprofit Impact study in January, which will survey a sample of organizations and is being coordinated with CalNonprofit's study.

Attention California nonprofits: Make sure your voice is included in the first statewide study of the economic and social impact of California's nonprofit sector! Please take 11 minutes to participate in this important research!

BONUS: Survey respondents will be entered into a drawing for an iPad Mini or one of 10 Starbucks gift cards!

Take the survey here: http://svy.mk/17qikag

This study will report on the characteristics of California's large and diverse nonprofit sector, highlighting the impacts nonprofits have on communities and their role as leaders of innovation.  Your survey responses will be combined with information from the following data sources to inform the report's findings:
*IRS Form 990
*National Center for Charitable Statistics
*California Attorney General's Office
*California's Employment Development Department
*Proprietary California data on giving, volunteering, and public confidence

Note: please have the survey completed by the executive director/CEO or someone else with organization-wide perspective. And please pass this along to your friends and colleagues elsewhere so they can be part of the research as well.

StanfordPro Bono Consulting Available from Stanford Alumni Consulting Team

Offered Through Community Foundation for Monterey County

Organizations in Monterey County are invited to apply for pro bono management consulting from the Stanford Alumni Consulting Team (ACT) in coordination with the Community Foundation for Monterey County's Center for Nonprofit Excellence.

For the eighth year, local alumni of Stanford, Yale, Harvard and other prestigious business schools, many with decades of experience, will volunteer their time to work with a small number of nonprofit organizations in areas of business management. Previous projects have covered a variety of areas such as: financial systems review, executive coaching, business plan development, marketing and strategic business analysis.
The program aims to select projects that would not be performed by local nonprofit consultants.

"The depth of experience and talent the ACT members bring to these projects in invaluable," said Kaki Rusmore, Director of Center for Nonprofit Excellence.

Local organizations interested in participating must apply by Friday, January 24, 2014.  The simple application form is available on the Community Foundation Website. Business school alumni interested in participating and organizations with additional questions may contact Kaki Rusmore at 831.375.9712 x124 or kaki@cfmco.org.
