Support Nebraska Camps!

The Nebraska United Methodist Foundation is celebrating its 50th year in serving the United Methodist churches, ministries and individuals of Nebraska.  As part of this celebration, the Foundation has embarked on a challenge to raise $50,000, which will create an endowment fund designated for the three Nebraska United Methodist Camps:  Camp Comeca (Cozad), Camp Fontanelle (Fremont), and Camp Norwesca (Chadron).

A current campaign is underway to reach this goal.  As of July 2015, the Foundation has raised $20,500, which is 41% of the goal.  Much of this has been graciously gifted through the Foundation's current and past board members.  And we would like to thank them for their continuous support of our efforts!

Now we would like to turn to friends of the Foundation, AND friends of the camps.  We ask that you prayerfully consider a gift to support our great Nebraska camps.  Together, we can create a sustainable stream of income for years to come.  Thank you for your consideration!

Foundation Sightings

Anita Crisp, Executive Director, of the Nebraska United Anita Methodist Foundation enjoys visiting with the people behind the churches and ministries in Nebraska.  Frequently, Anita will just stop in to say 'hi' to a church as she is driving through a town.  At times no one is at the church, so if you find a business card on your front step, you know she stopped by to see you!  She equally enjoys visiting churches that have had long-time funds at the Foundation as well as those churches we do not know very well.  Between hosting coffee and rolls during a congregation's fellowship time, delivering sermons or estate planning seminars, and meeting with church committees, Anita finds herself on the road visiting people all over the state.  Below is a list of those churches Anita has been spotted at so far this year:
