It is with great sadness we bid farewell to Rosanne McClarnon, the Foundation's Director of Finance.  Rosanne will be retiring on June 1, 2015, after over 14 years with the Foundation.  Many of you have worked with Rosanne throughout the years and have found that she is always gracious, pleasant and able to find you an answer to any question almost immediately.  In fact, there is not much you can ask Rosanne about the Foundation that will stump her. She was hired for this position by Jim Heller in April 2001 but had worked as Comptroller for the Conference prior to that since September 1995.  As a small staff here at the Foundation, she has become like family to us and it will not be the same here without her. When asked about her time with the Foundation and her role, she said, "Obviously I love to work with numbers, but I really enjoy the Foundation family, whether it be co-workers, annuitants or church treasurers who have been in their positions for many years."  Prior to this role, Rosanne was an accountant for a Fortune 500 company, but she realized that wasn't quite the fit she was looking for.  "I have loved the last 20 years at the Conference office and Foundation where the work environment has suited my personality much better," she said.  Although Rosanne has enjoyed her time with us, she is looking forward to retirement as well.  "The freedom to pursue some volunteer work, do some quilting and spend more time with my husband who has been retired 4 years already is appealing to me.  And I won't miss the 41 mile drive to work every day!"  But we will miss you Rosanne!  Thank you for your service to the Foundation and the churches and ministries of the Nebraska United Methodist Church. Your service and kind spirit has made a difference in the lives of many!
