The event runs from 1pm-6:30pm in Burk Hall, Room 168.

Marlai Ouch ('17) has been honored with the Jefferson Award for Public Service for founding a Cambodian school in San Francisco and bringing the community together and sharing her cultural traditions. Congratulations Marlai!
The study "Queering the Ed.D." by Valerie Royaltey-Quandt ('16)
will be published as one of the inaugural white papers of the Carnegie Project on the Educational Doctorate (CPED). Great news, Valerie!

Omar Murillo ('15) has won the SF State Student Research Competition in Education for his work: Family Away from Home: Support Systems for Multi-Generational Hispanic Students at a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI). He now goes on to compete at the CSU level. Congratulations, Omar, and good luck at the CSU-wide competition at CSU Bakersfield in April!
Congratulations to Maia Steward ('16)! Her new baby daughter Eilie Marion Wheeler Steward was born on February 6. And, though Mom now has a major new project, she still plans to complete her dissertation by the end of summer!
