Hello Lakeview Families,
We are very excited to see you next week for our January Parent/Teacher/Student conferences! It is a fantastic time to hear from your student about her/his progress towards the goals they set in October as well as connect with your student's teacher. Sign-ups are now closed, so communicate directly with your student's teacher if you need to adjust an appointment time (click here for teacher email addresses).
Also during conference week we will be holding a food drive. Our ASB Leadership students selected conference week to make this food drive a community event. There will be bins in the front office next week for nonperishable food items. Please use this as an opportunity to speak with your student about those who go without and how important it is to give to those around us: it is part of Lakeview's value of "being kind."

Kindergarten Registration Volunteers Needed February 4th
Dear Parents,
Kristin Crane, our wonderful school secretary, has asked if we could help with the kindergarten registration on Thursday, February 4th, from 1-7PM. Kristin would like to have 6 to 8 people on deck during this time. I have put together a SignUpGenius for these hours; if you could fill a slot that would be great. If you can fill a partial slot please note the times you are available. (See link below)

Clip Box Tops and earn cash for our school!
Lakeview receives 10 cents for each Box Top. Box Tops are found on hundreds of your favorite products (see link to participating products). You probably have some in your home right now! Box tops can be delivered to your teacher at any time, so get clipping, Leopards! Teachers will collect and save the box tops. A very special prize will be awarded to the class that turns in the most. The deadline is Friday, February 26th!
