Getting your school supplies for next year just got easier! The Lakeview PTSA is happy to announce an online option for purchasing your back to school supplies for next year. This option saves you precious time searching for school supplies with the the back to school crowds. Now, you can get your child's school supplies shipped directly to your home in a single organized package. You will be getting some of the best prices out there due to the package discount we received.  Another great thing about this program is that 10% of the total sales price will be given to the Lakeview PTSA.    
 
Simply go online to schooltoolbox.com and purchase all of the items on your child's supply list.
 
It is as easy as:
1. Go online to schooltoolbox.com and enter Lakeview Elementary Kirkland, WA in search box
2. Select your grade level(s) and then select entire box or choose to customize box
3. Click Add to Cart and then Checkout
4. All of your items will be boxed together by child and shipped directly to your home!
 
All orders ship within 21 days. Orders over $50 include free home delivery. Orders under $50 will be charged $5.99 in shipping at checkout.
 
NOTE: Orders must be placed by Thursday, 8/7 in order to ensure delivery before school begins on Tuesday, 9/2.

If you like helping kids make art... this could be the volunteer position for you! Job Description: The Art Docent Leaders head up the Lakeview Art Program. Their main job duties are:
1) Recruiting and training parents to be classroom art docents
2) Managing the school Art Schedule
3)Organizing the Spring Art Walk or working closely with the Art Walk Organizer.

The position is busiest at the beginning of the school year, when you are working on art schedules with the art docents and in the late spring, when organizing Art Walk. Individuals should like to organize, be comfortable with admin duties like creating and maintain schedules, and enjoy art!
