Storm Water Quality Awareness Survey
Residents of Placer County are being asked to take an online educational awareness survey on the subject matter of "Storm Water Quality."  Participants who complete the survey will have the option to enter into a monthly drawing for local prize giveaways. Survey responses will be evaluated to gauge the level of storm water awareness in the community. In a few years, the survey will be conducted again to benchmark progress. To take the survey, visit www.surveymonkey.com/r/stormh2o.

Please share this survey with friends and family in the Placer County area. We hope to achieve a great response from the regional community and thank you in advance for your participation.

Planning a Special Event?

Throughout the years, event planners and service organizations have been looking for a comprehensive "Community Calendar" where they could advertise their events, or to check to make sure there are no other events planned for the same day.

With the City's new website, we now have such a tool in place! And the process is simple.

Simply click here to submit your event right now. Instructions are very easy to follow.

If you should have any problems submitting your event, please contact the City's Public Information Officer, Jill Thompson, at (916) 434-2448 and she will be happy to walk you through the process.

It is our hope that by using this tool, all City service organizations and event planners will get more exposure for their special events, and that by avoiding multiple events on the same day, each event will be well attended and a huge success!
