Safe Routes to School Construction on East Avenue
The City of Lincoln is pleased to announce the start of construction for the Safe Routes to School Improvements Project on East Avenue.

The project will begin on February 22nd, 2016 and is anticipated to last for three months. Work will be performed by Central Valley Engineering & Asphalt and their sub-contractors. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The project work zone is located on East Avenue from East 5th Street to 12th Street, primarily on the east side of the street. The scope of the project will include the installation of missing or non-compliant sidewalks, missing or damaged curb and gutter, new curb ramps, new storm drain infrastructure, intersection improvements, and the replacement of several driveway approaches.

No parking signs will be posted periodically throughout the construction area order to provide access for the contractor to perform their work.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the project, please contact Salaber Associates, Inc. who is providing the construction management services on behalf of the City of Lincoln. Their contact information is:

Wes Graves, Project Inspector @ 707-249-1751
Rob Salaber, Construction Manager @ 707-249-8808

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we complete this important project.
