Last Night's Lincoln City Council Meeting

In accordance with the City's mayoral rotation system that determines which Council  member shall be chosen to serve as Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem, at last night's Council meeting Spencer Short took his oath of office as Mayor, and Peter Gilbert was sworn in as the new Mayor Pro Tem. Outgoing Mayor Paul Joiner was honored by his fellow Councilmembers for his year of service by adopting a proclamation outlining the many accomplishments achieved over the past year.
