At the City, we are thankful for our volunteers, an improved economy, and the predicted El Nino forecast for California this winter.

Storm Preparedness Information

In preparation for the projected stormy winter season, we'd like to provide you with some    tips to help protect your home and property.
  • Keep your gutters, storm drains, and yard areas clear of any leaves and debris.
  • Remove any backyard and front yard furniture that can be blown away by the wind or damaged by the rain.
  • Remove basketball hoops from sidewalks.
  • Trim back any loose tree limb branches.
  • Keep an emergency supply kit of water, batteries, non-perishable items, and flashlights.
  • If flood warnings are projected in the area, up to 20 sandbags will be available to Lincoln residents. Sandbag locations will be announced by the City.
