Catfé Opens in FieldHaven Marketplace

Lincoln's Newest "Experience" Destination

In 2013, FieldHaven Feline Center broke into the up and coming downtown Lincoln scene when they opened Snap it Up FieldHaven Marketplace Thrift Shop.  Snap it Up quickly became the favorite thrift store destination of area shoppers. Expanding on that success, FieldHaven is opening to the public on Saturday,November 21, 2015.from 10 am to 5 pm.

FieldHaven Marketplace covers 4,000 square feet dedicated to fun shopping, cat adoptions and Lincoln's own version of a Catfé, the coffee and cat lovers trend that is sweeping across the country.

Named for FieldHaven's ambassador cat, Champy, the Catfé will offer coffee, hot drinks and wi-fi.  Best of all, the Catfé will have resident adoptable cats to engage and provide purr therapy to customers.

Shopping opportunities at the Marketplace include vintage, antique and upcycled furniture and an artisan co-op will showcase the diverse works of local artists and "Upcyclers", the art of creating fabulous decorative items and furniture from cast-offs.

"We are creating a unique multi-purpose environment for the community to shop, relax with a coffee or tea, catch up with a friend and meet some great cats all in one place" said Leslie Clark, FieldHaven Marketplace Manager.  "There is no other place like this in California."

All proceeds from FieldHaven Marketplace will benefit FieldHaven Feline Center.

FieldHaven Marketplace will host a Grand Opening reception on Friday, November 20 from 4 pm to 6:30 pm at 454 F Street, Lincoln CA 95648.
