News from the Placer County Office of Elections

Candidate filing opens for the June 3, 2014 Statewide Direct Primary Election February 10, 2014 and closes March 7, 2014. The Placer County Office of Elections' office hours will be reduced to 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on February 12 in observance of Lincoln's Birthday and on February 17 in observance of President's Day holiday. If the incumbent fails to file by March 7, 2014 the filing period for that office will be extended to March 12, 2014 for individuals other than the incumbent.
