Lincoln Boulevard/Highway 65 On Ramp Closure Delayed

Bypass road work

Caltrans has announced that the closing of the Highway 65 South bound on ramp at Lincoln Boulevard has been delayed until next week due to the wet weather over the weekend and rain predicted for tomorrow.

When the closure occurs, motorists will be detoured south to Twelve Bridges Road to access Highway 65.  Motorists are advised to take alternate routes during this closure.  This closure will be in effect for six weeks, weather pending.

The current 20 mph curve will be replaced with a signalized intersection allowing through traffic on Lincoln Boulevard between Twelve Bridges Road and Sterling Parkway.  The on-ramp will be reconstructed to two lanes.  The new Park and Ride facility just south of the new intersection will be opened on Lincoln Blvd. upon completion of this work.
