LINCOLN OPEN SPACE COMMITTEE MEETING
Wednesday, January 9, 2013
The next regular meeting of the Lincoln Open Space Committee will be on Wednesday, January 9 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Willow Room at the Twelve Bridges Library. The topic will be Village 1 and recommended preservation areas.
Village 1 is a planned development that will border a large part of Sun City with stretches on both sides of 193 and part of Sierra College Blvd. This area has valuable open space that could be a great amenity for walking, biking, and wildlife and salmon viewing for Lincoln residents. Please come and learn more.
Meetings are open to all residents who have an interest in protecting and enhancing our open spaces in the Lincoln area. Residents who have any open space concerns or issues are encouraged to come to the meetings and bring those concerns to the attention of the Committee.
Meetings are on the second Wednesday of every month, at 6 p.m., and often include a guest speaker. For additional information call John Williams, Co-Chair of the Open Space Committee, at 390-5111, or visit our website at www.lincolnopenspace.org
