Are You Prepared?

The City of Lincoln is prepared for stormy winter weather. Are you? Go to the
California OES website for tips on how to prepare for winter storms.

The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a Flood Watch for Thursday afternoon through Sunday afternoon, and a Wind Advisory from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, with winds anticipated 20 to 30 mph from the southeast with possible gusts up to 40 mph.

Locally, sand and sand bags for emergencies will be available at the end of Flightline Drive and at Lincoln Fire Station 35 (2525 E. Lincoln Parkway).

For power outages and 24 hour information on power service, please call PG&E at 1-800-743-5002. Please help the Lincoln Police Department serve the community better during this storm event by not calling the Lincoln Police Department with questions on power outages unless it is causing a life or death emergency or a major traffic concern. We want to be able to quickly respond to all emergency calls during this event.

If you do have an emergency, call the Lincoln Police Department at 645-4040, or dial 9-1-1.
Thank you for your cooperation.
