Alabama Wildlife Center Board Work Day A Success

The Alabama Wildlife Center's Board of Directors and the AWC Young Professionals Board, known as "Raptor Force," gathered at the Wildlife Center headquarters in Oak Mountain State Park Saturday for a day of hard work and good fellowship in support of AWC's mission. The noise of weed eaters, chainsaws, and pressure washers punctuated the tranquil ridge top setting throughout the day, as AWC's volunteer leadership tackled clean-up and repair projects at Alabama's premier wildlife rehabilitation and education center. AWC Board President Michael Player said he was grateful for the hard work of the Center's volunteer leadership. "I appreciate everyone pitching in, especially the members of our Junior Board. The Clean-up Day was a huge success -- we were able to accomplish a lot."
